Orders and Shipping

It’s easy to create an account, and you don’t need to keep your credit card number on file if you don’t want to. To create a personal account or to log in to your account, just click the “My Account” link at the top of this page. Or, you can create your account when you check out.

Yes, we are happy to take online orders at any time. We will send you a confirmation email or text to confirm that we have received your order to notify you of when it is ready for pickup at the store. Curbside delivery is also available with order confirmation and I.D.

In stock, items are generally available on the same business day. Items requiring shipping will be processed and delivered as quickly as possible, with receipt dependent upon the manufacturer’s processing times, the delivery location, and the carrier. Most items are delivered within 3 to 7 business days. If you have questions regarding a particular product, please give us a call.

* When you spend $250 or more, we offer free curbside delivery to the San Diego County on in stock items.

We use a variety of shipping options and methods, with most items being shipped using UPS and USPS.

We accept cash and all major credit cards and payment methods, such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.

Yes, we can ship products outside of San Diego County. Products over 10lbs, especially large amplifiers and speakers, require special packing / shipping/ handling and additional charges will apply.

Yes. You can cancel or change an order prior to shipping. If an order has been shipped, fees may apply.

Returns and Exchanges

Most of the new, unopened equipment that is purchased with ECG&M can be returned to us within 7 days from date of sale, for a full refund in the form of Store Credit. We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories). Store credit never expires and can be used on any of our items. Please note (regarding online purchases) that the buyer will assume all the costs for shipping the unwanted item back to ECG&M (unless defective or incorrect shipment). Please note that ECG&M may refuse or charge up to a 25% restocking fee for any returned item if it is no longer in new condition.

If you believe you’ve received a defective product, please return it within 7 days. If we determine the unit failed under warranty within 7 days of purchase, we will cover shipping costs within the US to replace the unit for you. For items purchased marked as “used” that malfunction or fail and that haven’t been abused or misused, you may return these items within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the purchase price or an in-house credit minus the cost of shipping.

We do not accept returns, under any circumstances, on sealed products, guitars, amplifiers, and other items that may come in contact with ears or mouth due to sanitary concerns.

The store hours are Tuesday-Friday noon-6, Saturday noon-5, closed Sunday and Monday. We can be open by appointments as well.

Online purchases can be returned in the store following the return policies stated above. Products requiring the use of the manufacturer’s warranty must be returned directly to the manufacturer.

If an item or package arrived damaged, document the condition at the time the item or package was received and immediately notify the carrier and our customer service.

If you receive the wrong item, please notify us immediately and we will get you the right item out to your as quickly as possible.

Authorized returns will be mailed to our shop or to the manufacturer and shall be determined on a case by case basis. Please contact us prior to mailing returns to receive authorization and confirmation of the return address and shipping details.
