The Ashdown UK-PM-20H Peacemaker is a hand-built, all-valve 20-watt guitar amp head from Ashdown's UK Peacemaker series. Designed for guitarists who want boutique British valve tone in a practical studio and small-stage format, the PM-20H combines classic amp feel with modern control, silent operation capability, and flexible voicing options.
Built by hand in England, the PM-20H is part of Ashdown's Classic Custom Shop Studio Peacemaker lineup. Its 20-watt all-valve design is powered by 2 x 6V6 output valves, delivering smooth response, harmonic richness, and the touch-sensitive compression players expect from a genuine valve amplifier.
The PM-20H features two channels for clean and drive tones, along with a simple, musical control layout: Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Master, and Boost. Dark and Light voicing modes let you shift between warmer, rounder tones and brighter, more cutting presence, while the rear-panel channel-link switch blends both channels for expanded tonal variety.
The built-in Boost function can be engaged from the front panel or via an optional FS-2 footswitch, making it useful for solos, dynamic shifts, or extra drive. Speaker outputs support 8 and 16 ohm cabinets, and the built-in load allows silent operation for recording or practice without requiring an external load box.
