Built in the Ashdown UK Custom Shop, the HOD-600-UK delivers 600 watts of professional bass amplification, extensive tone shaping, tube-driven harmonic distortion, and the unmistakable twin-VU-meter appearance created for this signature model.

Product Overview
The Head of Doom is based on Ashdown's renowned ABM platform, delivering powerful lows, controlled articulation, and the flexibility required for classic Black Sabbath tones, aggressive driven bass sounds, and modern high-headroom performance.
Its comprehensive EQ section combines Bass, Middle, and Treble controls with six graphic EQ sliders, giving players detailed control over the amplifier's response. Ashdown's Sub-Harmonic Generator adds a synthesized octave below the original note for additional depth and weight.
A 12AX7 preamp tube provides adjustable harmonic drive, allowing players to move from subtle warmth to more aggressive bass distortion. Compatible footswitch control allows key functions to be operated remotely.
Twin illuminated VU meters provide visual monitoring while giving the Head of Doom its distinctive stage appearance.
