Built by hand in Essex, England, the Ashdown UK-CL-115H is a Classic Custom Shop 1x15 bass cabinet designed for players who want deep, expressive low end without sacrificing articulation or build quality. This is a purpose-built enclosure from Ashdown's premium UK workshop — and the 1x15 format gives it a natural authority in the low register that a 1x12 simply cannot match.
Loaded with a 15-inch B&C neodymium speaker and paired with a high-frequency horn featuring a 3-way variable crossover, the UK-CL-115H delivers rich, full lows with clarity and punch, while giving you precise control over top-end presence. Power handling is rated at 800 watts program / 400 watts AES at 8 ohms nominal impedance, with a sensitivity of 98 dB — built for demanding real-world use on stage or in the studio.
The enclosure is constructed from birch ply with internal bracing and a tuned bass-reflex port for tight, controlled low-end performance that stays focused at volume. Pro-level details carry through to every connection point: genuine Neutrik connectors ensure a secure, roadworthy signal path, and an offset carry handle improves balance during transport. At 18.80 kg (41.4 lbs), the neodymium driver keeps the weight meaningfully lower than a comparable ceramic-loaded 1x15.
Visually, the UK-CL-115H is unmistakably Ashdown Classic Custom Shop: finished in Buffalo Tolex with silver & blue weave grill cloth, chrome corners, and the iconic Ashdown double-wing badge. It pairs naturally with any Ashdown Classic or ABM head for a complete, cohesive UK-built rig.
