Built by hand in Essex, England, the Ashdown UK-CL-210H is a Classic Custom Shop 2x10 bass cabinet designed for players who demand speed, articulation, and controlled low end without compromising on build quality or British craftsmanship. Where a 1x15 commands the low register, the 2x10 format excels in definition, transient speed, and mid-punch — making it the natural choice for players who need to cut through a dense mix with clarity and authority.
Loaded with two 10-inch B&C neodymium drivers and paired with a detailed B&C high-frequency horn featuring a 3-way variable crossover, the UK-CL-210H delivers a wide, even frequency response with precise top-end control. Power handling is rated at 1000 watts peak / 500 watts AES at 8 ohms nominal impedance, with a sensitivity of 99 dB — built for demanding real-world use on stage or in the studio.
The enclosure is constructed from birch ply with internal bracing and a rear-tuned bass-reflex port for tight, controlled low-end performance that stays focused at volume. Genuine Neutrik connectors ensure a secure, roadworthy signal path, and an offset carry handle improves balance during transport. At 18.80 kg (41.4 lbs) and 603 x 452 x 340 mm, the neodymium drivers keep the weight meaningfully lower than a comparable ceramic-loaded 2x10.
Visually, the UK-CL-210H is unmistakably Ashdown Classic Custom Shop: finished in Buffalo Tolex with silver & blue weave grill cloth, chrome corners, and the iconic Ashdown double-wing badge. It pairs naturally with any Ashdown Classic or ABM head — and stacks seamlessly with the UK-CL-115H for a full, cohesive UK-built rig.
