True resonator tone starts with a classic nickel-plated bell brass body and Recording King’s full-size hand-spun 9.5" resonator cone. Combined with a maple/ebony biscuit bridge, the RM-993 delivers the punch, projection and unmistakable character players expect from a traditional metal-body resonator.
The smaller parlor body and comfortable 24-1/4" scale give the RM-993 a slightly different voice from larger metal-body resonators. It retains the swampy midrange and bite of a classic biscuit-style design while adding a little extra treble shimmer and top-end clarity.
A mahogany V-profile neck, rosewood fingerboard and open-gear tuners complete a compact resonator that feels comfortable in the hands while delivering plenty of volume, personality and vintage-inspired character.
