The Ashdown Capri Bass Guitar combines vintage-inspired style, comfortable short-scale playability, and classic passive bass tone in a distinctive package inspired by the iconic Ford Capri.
Built around a comfortable 30” scale length, the Capri is designed to feel fast, familiar, and easy to play while delivering the warmth and punch that bass players expect. A roasted maple neck and fingerboard provide excellent stability, smooth playability, and a responsive feel that works equally well for beginners, gigging musicians, and experienced players looking for a fun short-scale instrument.
Hand-wound humbucking pickups and passive electronics deliver rich, musical bass tones with impressive versatility. From vintage-inspired grooves and classic rock to modern indie and alternative styles, the Capri offers straightforward controls and dependable performance without unnecessary complexity.
Available in a range of eye-catching finishes including Onyx Green, Shell Pink, Ice Blue, Gloss Black, and Sea Foam Green, the Capri brings personality and stage presence to any performance.
