The Ashdown Roasted Capri-23 is a compact short-scale bass designed to deliver serious tone in a fun, lightweight instrument. Whether you're rehearsing, recording, or just starting your bass journey, the Capri-23 offers surprising punch, comfort, and playability in a travel-friendly design.

Built with a lightweight 40mm poplar body and a smooth roasted maple neck and fingerboard, the Capri-23 feels fast, stable, and incredibly comfortable to play. Its 596mm (23") scale length, C-shape neck profile, and 350mm fingerboard radius make it ideal for younger players, smaller hands, or any bassist who wants a highly playable compact instrument.

At the heart of the Capri-23 is a powerful PP Alnico pickup, delivering punchy mids, tight lows, and clear highs across a wide range of styles—from indie and pop to funk, punk, and rock. A simple 1 Volume / 1 Tone control layout keeps things intuitive and plug-and-play.

Durable hardware includes a mini bass bridge with copper saddle, chrome control knobs, and die-cast tuners for stable tuning and reliable performance.
