The Breedlove Roots Concert MYMYce brings together an all-solid Oregon myrtlewood body, Breedlove’s comfortable Concert shape, and the striking Tumalo Honey Burst finish in a handcrafted USA-made acoustic-electric guitar.

Oregon myrtlewood is used for the top, back, and sides, giving the MYMYce a balanced and expressive voice with clear articulation, rich harmonic detail, strong projection, and excellent response across a wide dynamic range.

The soft cutaway provides comfortable access to the upper register, while the Eastern hard rock maple neck, Breedlove Soft C profile, African ebony fingerboard, and 25.5-inch scale create a familiar and responsive playing feel.

All-Solid Oregon Myrtlewood

Oregon myrtlewood gives the Roots Concert MYMYce both its distinctive appearance and tonal character.

Using myrtlewood for the top, back, and sides creates a cohesive voice with a combination of warmth, clarity, definition, and harmonic complexity. The Concert body responds well to fingerstyle, flatpicking, and rhythm playing while maintaining excellent balance across the frequency range.

Because every set of myrtlewood has its own grain and figuring, each guitar has an individual visual character beneath the Tumalo Honey Burst finish.

Soft C Neck & Comfortable Concert Feel

The Eastern hard rock maple neck features Breedlove’s Soft C profile, designed for a comfortable and natural feel across a wide range of playing styles.

A 25.5-inch scale length and 1.75-inch nut width provide familiar acoustic-guitar string tension and comfortable spacing for both fingerstyle and traditional rhythm playing.

The African ebony fingerboard and soft cutaway provide smooth upper-register access while maintaining the balanced proportions that make Breedlove’s Concert body so comfortable to play.

The Roots Concert MYMYce features Breedlove’s Sound Optimized X bracing and individual voicing as part of its Bend, Oregon construction.
