CAD Audio E100Sx Large Diaphragm Supercardioid Condenser Microphone

The CAD Audio E100Sx is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone built to capture the natural, smooth tone of vocals, percussion, and acoustic instruments with minimal coloration.

This fourth-generation version of the E100 features a narrow supercardioid pickup pattern that focuses audio capture tightly in front of the mic, rejecting ambient noise from the back and sides. The sensitive 1" nickel-plated diaphragm delivers a full, rich sound with a hint of vintage coloration and extended low-end response, making it well suited to studio recording, voice-over, podcasting, and sound reinforcement work.

An integrated 100Hz high-pass filter removes unwanted low-end rumble, and a -10dB pad raises the maximum SPL to 136dB for use on louder sources. The included low-profile shockmount absorbs vibration and handling noise to keep recordings clean. Requires 48V phantom power.
