XL Chromes are D'Addario's warmest, mellowest electric guitar strings. Popular with jazz guitarists and blues players, these flat-wound strings provide an exceptionally smooth feel, warm tone and virtually no finger noise when moving across the fretboard.

Chromes feature a high-carbon steel core wrapped with stainless-steel flattened ribbon wire. Each string is precisely polished for exceptional smoothness and a mellow sound that blends beautifully into any mix.

The ECG24PL Jazz Light set is D'Addario's most popular flat-wound gauge. Unlike the standard ECG24 set, the ECG24PL includes a plain steel third string for greater flexibility and easier bending.
