The DigiTech Bass Whammy combines advanced pitch detection and polyphonic note tracking with the expressive control of the classic Whammy pedal—all optimized specifically for bass.
Two selectable tracking modes give bassists a choice between vintage Whammy character and smooth modern pitch shifting. Classic mode preserves the distinctive tracking artifacts and glitch-style shifts associated with the original Whammy. Chord mode uses advanced polyphonic tracking for cleaner, smoother pitch shifting when playing chords or more complex passages.
The Bass Whammy retains the classic settings of the original while adding modern pedalboard-friendly upgrades, including true-bypass switching, MIDI control, and a standard 9V DC power input.
