The Lâg HyVibe 10 HV10BCE brings HyVibe’s smart-guitar technology to an acoustic bass for the first time. Its jumbo body, solid red cedar top, and khaya back and sides produce a deep, warm acoustic voice with the fullness and resonance bassists expect—while the integrated HyVibe H2 system opens an entirely different range of creative possibilities.
Unlike a conventional onboard preamp, HyVibe uses actuators beneath the top to excite the instrument’s soundboard. This allows effects, loops, backing tracks, and streamed audio to resonate through the bass itself, even when it is not connected to an amplifier. The result is an instrument that remains genuinely acoustic while offering powerful tools for practice, songwriting, performance, and experimentation.
Deep, Warm Acoustic Bass Tone
The solid red cedar top responds easily and contributes warmth, depth, and a smooth attack. Khaya back and sides help keep the low end balanced and defined, while the jumbo body provides the air volume needed for strong acoustic bass resonance.
A satin finish gives the HV10BCE a natural, understated appearance and a comfortable feel. Its cutaway provides easier access to the upper frets, while the long 822 mm scale supports clear articulation and a firm, familiar bass response.
HyVibe H2 Smart Technology
The HyVibe H2 system transforms the bass’s soundboard into a responsive speaker and effects platform. Its upgraded processor, color display, shortcut controls, and refined sound algorithms make it easy to shape sounds directly from the instrument.

Playability and Appointments
The khaya neck is paired with a Brown Brankowood fingerboard, a durable and environmentally conscious material also used for the bridge and headstock facing. A 350 mm fingerboard radius and 20 medium nickel-silver frets provide a comfortable playing surface, while the double-action truss rod allows precise neck adjustment.
Die-cast tuning machines and satin-black hardware complement the bass’s clean Natural Satin presentation. A fitted gig bag is included for storage and transportation.
