This 1959 Gretsch 6120T is a Vintage Player's Guitar. It might look like a reissue, but it's the real deal, with the kind of sound, feel, and looks appropriate for a guitar that's been played for the last 65 years!

The serial number is 34167.
It is fully functional, and sounds and looks great.
Listed as Good Condition - Good condition includes items that are in fine working order, but have significant cosmetic imperfections. A pedal with scratches and dents on its chassis, a guitar with some cracks in the binding, or an old snare drum with some corrosion on the lugs would all be classified as Good. Items with dents, cracks or corrosion qualify as Good as long as they are still playable and fully functional.
The Headstock was repaired at some point in it's long life, and the repair appears to have been done many years ago.
In March of 2024 professional luthier work was done, with the following noted;
Refret, including fret dress/ level/ crown/ and full polish.
Zero Fret was elevated. Frets at .0049/ Zero at .054
Action on setup left at 5/4 w 0.002 relief
The binding on the neck was replaced and custom fit.
Binding on neck tapers from .090 at the heel to .060 at the nut.
Binding had to be custom fit to the binding cahannel
Fret markers were removed and replaced
A fretboard crack was addressed
Plane neck true
Neck could only be planed so much without impacting fretslots and integrity of the neck
Truss rod is completely slack and non functional more less.
Guitar restrung with 10-42 strings at the time of luthier work. Suggested a heavier gauge set of strings to add some tension to the neck and introduce some more relief.
The Bridge is not original and was fit to body contour.
The headstock crack was addressed. Bolt in trussrod channel was removed and plugged with a dowel.
The neck was reset.
Overall, amazing condition for its age. Looks, plays, feels, and sounds great.
