The Super Swede Bass is the most serious instrument in Hagstrom's bass line. Where the Swede Bass is a short-scale set-neck design, this one goes full 34" scale with mahogany neck-through construction — the neck runs the entire length of the instrument, with the body wings glued to either side. That's the layout builders use when they want maximum sustain and the most even response from the low string to the high.

Two Hagstrom J-Quad stacked humbuckers handle the voicing. Stacked coils mean you get true single-coil-style clarity and top-end detail without the hum, which suits a bass where definition matters as much as weight. The Hagstrom Custom bridge anchors it, and the H-Expander truss rod keeps a long neck straight and stable under tension.
