The long-throw tune-o-matic sits over Hagstrom's Sustain Block Tailpiece — each string terminating in its own brass block coupled directly to the body, separated from its neighbors so strings don't interfere with one another. The patented H-Expander truss rod and Resinator fingerboard round out the fast, stable neck Hagstrom is known for.
