Hagstrom turned 100 in 2025, and the Viking 100th Anniversary is how they marked it — a limited-edition build of the model Elvis Presley played on his 1968 Comeback Special, specified well above the standard Viking.

Flame maple front and back over a semi-hollow body with f-hole, a maple set neck with a long tenon joint for maximum coupling, and Gotoh hardware throughout — tune-o-matic, stop tailpiece and tuners. The pickups are Custom 58 Pro AlNiCo 5 No. 5 humbuckers, voiced for the warm, complex midrange that made the original Viking a favorite for players who wanted a semi-hollow that could still handle volume.

The H-Expander truss rod and Resinator fingerboard mean it plays like a modern Hagstrom despite the vintage lineage. This is the flagship of the line — and a limited run.
