JHS Pedals 3 Series Oil Can Delay

The JHS Pedals 3 Series Oil Can Delay is an amazing new delay pedal that captures the distinctive character of vintage oil can delay units. This innovative pedal delivers a perfect mix of echo and clean signal, offering delay times from 100ms to 330ms for everything from subtle slapback to rhythmic repeats.

Vintage Oil Can Character:

The Oil Can Delay recreates the unique sound and feel of classic oil can delay units that were popular in the 1960s and 70s. These units used actual oil-filled cans as delay mediums, creating a warm, organic delay tone with subtle modulation and character that digital delays often struggle to replicate.

Key Features:

• Delay Time: 100ms to 330ms range - perfect for slapback and short delays
• Mix Control: Blend between dry and delayed signal
• Repeats Control: Adjust feedback for single echoes to self-oscillation
• Vintage Character: Authentic oil can delay tone and feel
• True Bypass: Preserves your signal when disengaged
• Compact Design: Part of the space-saving 3 Series lineup
• Quality Construction: Built to JHS's exacting standards

Musical Applications:

The Oil Can Delay excels at creating vintage rockabilly slapback, surf guitar textures, and classic rock delay tones. Its shorter delay range makes it perfect for adding dimension and space to your sound without overwhelming the mix. The organic character adds warmth and musicality that complements both clean and overdriven tones.

As part of JHS's acclaimed 3 Series lineup, the Oil Can Delay offers professional-grade tone and reliability at an accessible price point. The 3 Series represents JHS's commitment to making high-quality effects available to every guitarist, without compromising on the sound quality and build standards that have made JHS a trusted name in effects.
