The Kala KA-BE Satin Mahogany Baritone Ukulele with EQ combines the warm, traditional character of Kala's Satin Mahogany series with onboard electronics for amplified playing.

Mahogany is used for the top, back, sides, and neck, producing a warm and balanced response with the deeper voice associated with a baritone ukulele. Cream binding adds a clean traditional accent, while the satin finish gives the instrument a comfortable, natural feel.

With its 20.0625-inch scale and familiar D-G-B-E baritone tuning, the KA-BE is especially approachable for guitar players while giving ukulele players a fuller, lower-register alternative to soprano, concert, and tenor sizes.

For amplified performance, the KA-BE features Kala's UK-300TR electronics powered by a 9V battery. A rosewood fingerboard, Aquila Super Nylgut® strings, adjustable truss rod, and Graph Tech NuBone® saddle complete a practical instrument for home playing, rehearsal, recording, or live performance.

Note: A gig bag or case is not included with this model.
