The Lâg HyVibe 50 HV50ACE is the flagship model in Lâg's HyVibe smart guitar series — a premium auditorium acoustic-electric guitar with a fully integrated smart guitar system built directly into the instrument. Powered by the HyVibe H2 processor, the HV50ACE is a self-contained smart acoustic guitar with built-in effects, a multi-layer looper, Bluetooth audio streaming, a metronome, a drum machine with rhythm accompaniment, a color display, shortcut controls, and a rechargeable battery — all onboard. No external amplifier or effects pedals are required for normal use. Effects and Bluetooth audio are heard through the guitar body itself via the vibration actuator system, delivering a natural, immersive acoustic playback experience wherever you play.
HyVibe H2 Smart Guitar Functions
The HyVibe H2 is one of the most capable onboard systems in any acoustic guitar with built-in effects available today. Every function listed below is built into the guitar and accessible without any external gear:
-
Reverb — Add natural room, hall, or ambient space to your acoustic tone
-
Delay — Rhythmic or ambient echo effects, dialed in from the onboard interface
-
Chorus — Lush modulation for added depth and movement
-
Tremolo — Classic volume modulation for expressive playing
-
Octaver — Add a lower or upper octave voice to your signal
-
Distortion — Overdrive and distortion tones processed entirely onboard
-
Built-In Looper — Record a base loop and layer up to three overdub tracks directly from the guitar; no looper pedal needed
-
Bluetooth Audio Streaming — Stream backing tracks, play-along music, or any audio wirelessly from your phone or device; the guitar body itself acts as the speaker through the vibration actuator system
-
Metronome — Built-in click track for practice and timing work, heard through the guitar
-
Drum Machine & Rhythm Accompaniment — Onboard rhythm patterns and drum machine for solo practice, songwriting, and performance without a backing band
-
Color Display — Full-color onboard screen for easy navigation, effect selection, and parameter adjustment
-
Preset Access & Shortcut Buttons — Store and recall your favorite effect combinations; dedicated shortcut controls keep your most-used functions within reach
-
Rechargeable Lithium Battery — Built-in battery powers all smart functions; charges via USB-C
-
More Than 10 Hours of Battery Life — Extended use for practice sessions, rehearsals, and live performance
-
USB-C Charging — Modern, convenient charging with widely available cables
-
Headphone / Line Output — Connect headphones for silent practice or run a line to a PA, audio interface, or recording setup

Lâg HyVibe App — Manage effects, presets, and system settings from your smartphone where supported
-
Optional FS2 Footswitch Compatibility — The Lâg HyVibe FS2 Footswitch enables hands-free control of loops, effects, and performance features; sold separately
Premium Acoustic Construction
The Lâg HyVibe 50 HV50ACE is built to perform as a serious acoustic instrument first. The tonewoods, body design, and appointments reflect a premium acoustic guitar at the top of its class.
-
Solid Bearclaw Engelmann Spruce Top — The figured bearclaw grain is visually striking, and the solid Engelmann spruce delivers exceptional resonance, tonal complexity, and dynamic sensitivity across playing styles
-
Macassar Ebony Back & Sides — Macassar ebony contributes a focused, articulate voice with natural sustain, clear note separation, and a rich tonal character that complements the spruce top
-
Auditorium Cutaway Body — The auditorium shape offers a comfortable, balanced feel with strong projection; the cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets for lead work and more advanced passages
-
Ergonomic Armrest Bevel — A smooth comfort bevel along the bass-side edge of the body reduces arm fatigue during extended playing sessions
-
Natural High-Gloss Finish — A premium gloss finish enhances the visual depth of the tonewoods and gives the guitar a stage-ready appearance
-
Khaya Neck — A stable, comfortable neck profile from a tonewood in the mahogany family, known for warmth and playability
-
Black Brankowood Fingerboard & Bridge — Smooth, consistent feel across the fretboard with a refined, upscale look
-
Abalone Appointments — Abalone rosette, binding, neck inlays, and headstock appointments throughout for a premium, detailed presentation
-
Satin Black Hardware — Understated, modern hardware finish that complements the natural gloss body
-
Die-Cast Tuners — Reliable, stable tuning machines for consistent intonation
The combination of the auditorium body, comfort bevel, and cutaway makes the HV50ACE well-suited for fingerstyle playing, strumming, songwriting, home recording, rehearsal, and live performance. The acoustic voice is clear and balanced, with enough projection and dynamic range to hold its own as a standalone acoustic instrument.
