Switchless Operation • Steve Vai Signature Wah Voicing • Electro-Optical Circuitry • TrueTone Bypass Buffer • Guitar, Bass & Keys Compatible
The Morley 20/20 Steve Vai Bad Horsie delivers the signature wah response developed to Steve Vai's specifications in a compact, rugged, and completely switchless design. Step onto the pedal to activate the wah effect, then step away and it automatically returns to bypass—no toe switch or extra movement required.
Morley's electro-optical circuitry provides smooth, consistent wah control without the traditional potentiometer found in many wah pedals. Because there is no mechanical wah pot to wear out, the Bad Horsie is designed for reliable performance during rehearsals, recording sessions, and live shows.
The onboard TrueTone Bypass buffer helps preserve signal strength and clarity in both bypass and wah modes. It also helps drive longer cable runs without the high-frequency loss that can occur in an unbuffered guitar signal chain.
Built into a cold-rolled steel enclosure, the 20/20 Bad Horsie is ready for regular stage use while maintaining a more pedalboard-friendly footprint than traditional Morley designs. It can be powered by a standard 9-volt battery or a compatible Morley 9V power adapter.
