Oscar Schmidt OH32SEQTR Acoustic Electric Bajo Quinto – Quilt Trans Red w/ Barcus Berry LX-4 & Gig Bag
The Oscar Schmidt OH32SEQTR Bajo Quinto in Quilt Trans Red is purpose-built for the driving rhythms of Norteño, Tejano, Conjunto, and traditional Latin American music. Designed to lock in seamlessly with accordion and bass, this instrument delivers the bold low-end punch and crisp articulation that define the genre.
Featuring a striking quilted sapele top in Transparent Red finish, paired with Macassar ebony back and sides, the OH32SEQTR offers powerful projection, rich harmonic content, and tight, focused bass response. Quarter-sawn scalloped bracing enhances resonance and dynamic sensitivity—providing clarity whether you're laying down steady rhythm patterns or adding accented melodic passages.
When it’s time to plug in, the Barcus Berry LX-4 preamp system delivers reliable, performance-ready tone with onboard controls to fine-tune your sound for stage or studio.
A real bone nut ensures excellent tuning stability and optimal tone transfer, while gold hardware and a gloss finish complete the premium aesthetic.
