Why Buy From ECG Music?
The Peavey MAX 150 is a 150-watt, 1x12 bass combo built for players who need real power and practical features in a giggable package. Whether you're running rehearsals, playing small-to-medium venues, or using it as a reliable practice amp at home, the MAX 150 delivers solid Peavey bass tone without overcomplicating the setup.
The front panel gives you genuine tonal control: a 3-band EQ, a Bright control, a Contour control for scooping mids and boosting highs and lows, and a Mid Shift switch for adjusting the mid frequency center point. Peavey's Kosmos-C psycho-acoustic low-end enhancement adds perceived bass depth without overloading the speaker, while the TransTube gain boost circuit adds tube-style warmth and character when you want it. DDT speaker protection keeps the driver safe at higher volumes.
