Recording King RR-36S-VS Maxwell Square Neck Resonator – Vintage Sunburst
The Recording King Maxwell RR-36S-VS is a traditional square-neck resonator built for bluegrass, lap-style slide playing, and players looking for the cutting projection and focused tone of a classic spider-bridge design.
At the heart of the Maxwell is Recording King’s hand-spun European resonator cone paired with a true sand-cast spider bridge. The mahogany body and parallelogram soundwell help produce a crisp, powerful attack with controlled overtones, allowing the instrument to cut clearly through a band mix.
A gloss Vintage Sunburst finish, ivory binding, open-gear tuners and traditional appointments give the RR-36S-VS a classic resonator appearance to match its vintage-inspired voice.
