Limited Edition, Signed and Numbered: Set #110 of 500. This set comes from the first run of 500, with bottom plates hand-signed by Joe Bonamassa and Seymour W. Duncan and numbered limited-edition packaging. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop has sold out of the signed edition, so this is one of the few left on a dealer shelf. We have one.

Joe Bonamassa “Bolin Burst” Humbucker Set, built with the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop after an in-depth analysis of the original P.A.F.s in Joe’s 1960 Les Paul once owned by Tommy Bolin. Alnico 2 magnets give you that sweet, vintage top end: a barky bridge with bite and a warm, singing neck that stays articulate when you dig in. Covers are aged in the Custom Shop to look the part. A portion of each sale goes to the Tommy Bolin Endowment and Tommy Bolin Memorial Fund.

Can I coil-split them?
No. These use vintage single-conductor braided leads, wired the classic way. That’s part of the sound.
Are they potted?
No. They are unpotted, like the originals. That’s where the open, vintage response comes from.
Should I install them or keep them sealed?
Your call. Players install them; collectors keep the numbered box intact. Either way, they ship carefully packed.
