Orbiters use coated nickel wound strings designed to retain a crisp, lively response while extending usable string life. Stringjoy applies a PFAS-free coating to the wrap wire rather than heavily coating the entire string, helping preserve a more natural feel and resonance. The 9.5-46 balance works well for players who want slightly firmer treble strings without moving all the way to 10s.
