Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a multiscale (fanned-fret) guitar? Yes. Wild Customs builds the Headless 6s on a multiscale neck, which you can see in the fret angles in our photos. The bass side runs slightly longer than the treble side, so low strings stay tight while the high strings bend easily.
Do I need special strings for a headless guitar? No. The ABM headless system clamps the plain end of a standard single-ball electric set at the headpiece and tunes at the bridge, so ordinary strings work.
Are the Fishman Fluence pickups active? Yes. Fluence pickups are active and battery-powered, which is why they stay noise-free at high gain and hold their voicing with long cable runs.
What case is included? A Gator hardshell case sized for headless guitars, so it ships and travels fully protected rather than in a gigbag.
